Loft beds with desk

What are the benefits of the built-in desk version?
The version with a desk combines a sleeping area and a workspace in a single piece of furniture – the desk is located beneath the bed. It is an ideal solution for small rooms where every square metre matters and eliminates the need to purchase a separate desk. The desktop is made from the same wood as the bed, ensuring a cohesive appearance.
What are the desk dimensions, and at what height is the desktop positioned?
The desktop is positioned 73 cm above the floor, meeting ergonomic standards for studying and working. The desk depth is 70 cm, while its width is matched to the width of the selected bed. This creates a full-size workstation beneath the bed rather than just a small shelf.
What clearance is recommended for the desk version?
For a built-in desk, we recommend increased clearance to ensure comfortable seating and sufficient headroom above the desktop – usually from around 150 cm upwards. The standard 142 cm clearance works well for younger children, while teenagers and adults often find a custom clearance between 143 and 170 cm more comfortable. The clearance height is selected when placing your order.
How much more expensive is the version with a desk?
The version with a desk is more expensive than the version without a desk – the surcharge depends on the model and finish and is shown on the product page. It is a great option if you need a permanent study or work area in a child’s room, teenager’s room, or studio apartment. The desk is an integral part of the structure and does not require separate installation.
